‘Eye of the Kestrel’ is a study of this intriguing bird of prey which plunges to earth to grasp its prey in its sharp talons The Kestrel’s eyes are massive in density and have cone receptors which enables them to spot small bugs, rodents, mice and voles from a great distance and they are able to see ultra violet light.
